Transport Assistant and Trainee Planner - Gamston

The Role

This role requires an individual to work alongside the onsite Transport Planner, to assist with the daily and strategic Operation of Transport to fulfil all customer demands through all our delivery streams.

We are looking for a result driven individual, who is curious, tenacious, detail orientated and demonstrates leadership skills. Self-motivated and can build rapport at all levels of the business to give clarity of communication, deliver change and support a culture of right first time.

Your Key Responsibilities

The primary function of this role is in the first instance to ensure that all transport administration duties are conducted in a timely and diligent manner (these tasks are denoted **), however a full training plan will be agreed that delivers the correct level of experience and understanding so that this key role can deputise in the transport planner's absence.

Driver Class 2 - Gamston - Nights

 

The Role

Our LGV Drivers do more than a "driving job". It's about ensuring our customers get the best impression of our business. You are the "face" of our business, not just our delivery driver. It's all about making a good impression with your appearance, manner and the look of your vehicle. Ensuring goods are delivered in a first-class condition, completing all necessary paperwork and above all, leaving everyone you meet with a really positive impression of you and our business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Check the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
  • Complete vehicle checks daily
  • Ensure that the load is correct against the customers' orders
  • Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to make and respect customer's property
  • Customer liaison of where the delivery is required
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Handle customer issues on delivery effectively and contact Transport if required, at the time of delivery
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner
  • Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
  • Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits
  • Look after the vehicle, including cab cleanliness, and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage

  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points on your licence
  • High levels of Health and Safety standards

  • A valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
  • Previous experience completing multi-drop deliveries

The Role

Following exceptional growth, we work through 2022 with an exciting array of projects ahead, including retail stores, e-commerce launch and growth & new distribution sites, in addition to new product development as part of an exciting 5-year vision. Stock Controller, Midlands – Late Shift

 

The Role

As a Stock Controller at Pedigree Wholesale Limited you will be knowledgeable, capable and an integral member of the Operations team and provide excellent support to the Stock Manager. As a stock controller you have overall responsibility for the warehouse stock including the teams’ processes for managing stock movements, health and safety and overall standards in the warehouse.
