The Role

This role requires an experienced Skills Trainer to work alongside the Midlands Depot Manager to assist with the daily and strategic Operation of the warehouse to fulfil all customer demands through all our delivery streams.

Team Leader - Nights, West Depot

The Role

This role requires an experienced Team Leader to work alongside the Depot Coordinator to assist with the daily and strategic operation of the warehouse to fulfil all customer demands through all our delivery streams.

We are looking for a results driven individual, who is curious, tenacious, detail orientated and demonstrates leadership skills. Self-motivated and can build rapport at all levels of the business to give clarity of communication, deliver change and support a culture of right first time.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Depot Coordinator, responsible for leading the Warehouse Team to ensure all KPI's and costs are met
  • Responsible for ensuring all Warehouse/System processes are always followed and adhered to
  • Identify and ensure all Warehouse tasks, ie damages & stock control are completed to an exceptional standard
  • In the absence of the Depot Coordinator, responsible for managing all aspects of the Warehouse operation.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and added value whilst key service levels are not affected
  • Lead and develop the Warehouse Team to create a highly successful, Productive and engaged team.
  • Ensure a proactive approach to risk management and adherence to site health & safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Promote Company values within the Warehouse to create a good working environment.
  • Pro-active approach to employee engagement.

Driver Class 2 - Days, Gamston

 

The Role

Our LGV Drivers do more than a "driving job". It's about ensuring our customers get the best impression of our business. You are the "face" of our business, not just our delivery driver. It's all about making a good impression with your appearance, manner and the look of your vehicle. Ensuring goods are delivered in a first-class condition, completing all necessary paperwork and above all, leaving everyone you meet with a really positive impression of you and our business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
  • Ensure that the load is correct against the customers' orders
  • Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to make and respect customers' property
  • Customer liaison of where the delivery is required
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Handle customer issues on delivery effectively and contact Transport if required
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner
  • Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
  • Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits
  • Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab
  • Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company's accident reporting procedure
  • Complete vehicle daily checks
  • Attend essential training in order to carry out the driver role
  • To provide support in the yard as required
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, to include the Company Standards of Performance and Health and Safety Policy

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Person Specification

  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points on your licence
  • High levels of Health and Safety standards
  • Numerate and literate
  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
  • Previous experience completing multi-drop deliveries
  • Self-starter and highly motivated with high energy level
  • Excellent verbal communication
