Pedigree Wholesale appoint New Account Manager

Pedigree Wholesale, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of pet and aquatic products into the independent retail sector are pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Powell to the position of Account Manager, working across Central Southern England, commencing 13th September.
Derek has a wealth of experience in helping independent retailers grow their sales, gained from many years of providing professional sales and merchandising advice on a personal level. Reporting to the Sales Director Derek will be responsible for supporting and building relationships with both existing and new customers, providing advice on all aspects of product range selection, merchandising and promotions.
On joining Pedigree Derek states “I’m looking forward to my new role with Pedigree Wholesale, particularly building strong relationships with customers and helping them to develop their business to the benefit of all involved. It also involves me in something which is dear to my heart ....animal welfare and wellbeing - all in all a winning combination”.
Living in Horley in Surrey, Derek is married to Angela, has two children and three step children. A member of the RSPB Derek also has three Border Collies, one of which is deaf, and which all need plenty of exercise. Derek is not shy of the camera and has appeared on a number of TV game shows and also starred as a film extra in the latest Harry Potter film, due for release in 2012!
