NEW Aqua-Pro External Filters – The ultimate in aquarium filtration

The recently launched Superfish Aqua-Pro External Filters, available from Pedigree Wholesale, offer the ultimate in aquarium filtration. The unique design is self priming, making starting quick and easy. The multi-step filter system consists of a filtration cartridge which includes three sponges for the removal of solids, and filtration trays containing the filter medium. The number of filtrations trays varies between each model with the Aqua-Pro200 including two (containing Bio-balls and Activated Carbon), Aqua-Pro 400 including three (containing Bio-Balls, Activated Carbon and Crystal Max) and the 600 model including four (2 containing Bio-Balls, one containing Activated Carbon and one containing Crystal Max).
Bio-balls, which have been specially designed to have a large bacteria adhesion surface for optimal biological performance, are highly wear resistant and have an unlimited service life. Activated Carbon quickly absorbs dyes and toxic substances from the water without affecting the pH value whilst Crystal Max is a porous filter medium made from glass which acts as a sponge for micro-organisms. Whilst the filters come complete with filter media, you can add or change the media as required.
The pump is positioned in the bottom so the filter doesn’t need to be primed before use, making it easy and quick to start, simply plug in. To prevent air accumulating in the filter an integral microchip starts and stops the pump once a day, allowing any air to escape.
Three sizes of Superfish Aqua-Pro External Filters are available – 200, 400 and 600 – for 100-200L, 200-400L and 400 – 600L size aquariums respectively.
